Korean Four Pillars, calculated transparently

Sojourn Saju

A Four Pillars chart you can inspect, understand, and question.

Sojourn calculates your Saju chart from your birth record and true solar time, then explains the patterns in clear English. The calculation stays visible. The interpretation stays interpretive.

Four pillars. One visible calculation.
01

Start with the structure

Four parts of a birth record, read together.

Saju means “four pillars.” Each pillar pairs a heavenly stem with an earthly branch for the year, month, day, and hour of birth.

The day stem is the Day Master. Season, hidden stems, Ten Gods, interactions, symbolic stars, and timing cycles add context around it.

Calculation before interpretation

You can see how the chart was made.

  1. 01
    Record

Birth date, civil time, place, and timezone. Unknown time remains unknown.

  2. 02
    Correct

Longitude and equation of time resolve apparent solar time at the birthplace.

  3. 03
    Calculate

Solar-term rules set year and month pillars; the engine derives the remaining chart layers.

  4. 04
    Interpret

The reading and Q&A use the saved chart snapshot. They do not recalculate it.

From chart to conversation

Read the layers. Ask what they mean in practice.

Move from the Four Pillars board into a structured report, timing evidence, and direct questions about work, relationships, travel, creativity, or recurring patterns.

Useful without becoming fate

The chart is fixed. The reading is interpretive.

Sojourn shows deterministic chart facts separately from interpretation. It does not predict death, diagnose illness, choose bets, or guarantee outcomes.
